NATREG Project goes global

NATREG project, financed through the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme, was presented on the occasion of the 2010 US National Planning Conference. The conference took place on 10 April 2010 at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans (USA); Veneto Region, upon invitation of the American Planning Association, has demonstrated how cooperation works in the case of NATREG project.

ECOPORT 8 organises the first pan-european forum


On February 22, in the framework of the project ECOPORT 8 - "ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT OF TRANSBORDER CORRIDOR PORTS", the 1st PAN-European Forum with the theme of "EU Standards analysis on port environmental policies"will be held in Bar, Montenegro. The theme of the Forum will be the National and EU environmental standards, with a focus on the EU Standards analysis on port environmental policies.

First Ministerial Conference on South East European Transport Axis Cooperation (SEETAC) in Bucharest


On 3-4 February 2010, the First SEETAC Ministerial Conference was held in Bucharest at the Ramada Parc Hotel and it was attended by about 40 participants. The gathering, hosted by Mr Constantin Dascălu, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania, was jointly organized by the CEI in its capacity as Lead Partner of the Project and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania.
High-level representatives from Albania, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia took part in the Conference, covering almost all representatives of the participating countries of the SEETAC Project.

Have a little... FATE: From army to entrepreneurship

From Army to Entrepreneurship" (F.A.T.E.) - is a project financed by the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme, whose aim is to develop economic growth thanks to the conversion of military brownfields into business support centres or business incubators in regions where the promotion of entrepreneurial spirit and the creation of innovative firms represent pivotal assets for the local economy.

WANDA Project Kicks off

Project Wanda held its kick off on 25th and 26th of August 2009, when more than 20 participants from Danube riparian countries met in Vienna to set up strategies for their future collaboration. WANDA stands for "Waste management for inland navigation on the Danube"  and aims to set upa transnationally coordinated ship waste management systemalong the River Danube.

1.07.2009 Cooperation in SEE area is kicking off

June has been a fruitful month for the projects approved within the SEE first call for proposals and we are happy to announce that several of them have had their kickoffs recently. These are: WATERMODE, TICAD, Danubeparks, CC-WaterS, DATOURWAY, I3E and IPRforSEE. We are wishing them good luck in their activities and we are looking forward to seeing the cooperation results!
