Now available the first newsletter of the EU.WATER project, which tackles the problem of water rationalization and water contamination caused by the intensive exploitation operated through agriculture.

The project, coordinated by the Province of Ferrara, is performed in eight pilot areas of Italy, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, The Republic of Moldova and Ukraine and is currently investigating water saving methods and the reduction of nitrate loads and other polluters, in line with Water Framework Directive (Dir. 2000/60/EC) and the European Directive about Nitrates (Dir. 91/676/EEC).
